Statement issued from Noncitizen when we decided to cancel this event at Tempo Documentary festival 2017:

"We, in the film collective Noncitizen, cancel the seminar on activism and filmmaking at Tempo, Sunday 12/3 at 17.00. We do it in solidarity with CinemAfrica Sweden, who has had a conflict with Tempo regarding the screenings of the movie about James Baldwin, "I Am Not Your Negro". We hope that Tempo improves their relationships with smaller organizations, and that we, Noncitizen, in the future can resume to cooperate with Tempo.

Noncitizen will try to organize the workshop on activism and filmmaking at a different time and location. Information about it will be posted on our website and on our Facebook-page."
